Basketball Coach John Wooden created his Pyramid of Success almost 60 years ago. His leadership as a coach has influenced many professional athletes including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Walton, and Andy Hill. The keys to his success as a coach included friendship, loyalty, and team spirit as 3 of the pyramid's 15 blocks, which make it applicable not only in sport, but every area of life.
