by an exclusive group of athletes, teams and sport builders.

Money to run your sport program
The
True Sport Foundation believes that sport makes a powerful
and positive contribution to the development of people
and their communities. True Sport Community Fund grants
are available to community-based sport and recreation
organizations throughout Canada. Does your sport program
promote these four core values: fairness, excellence,
inclusion and fun? Grants are worth $5,000 or $25,000
and deadline is Oct. 31.

KIDSPORT

So all kids can play
KidSport’s
application deadline just passed and we expect to give
out a total of over $300,000 again this year. Thankfully
reSports has come up with a unique fundraiser supporting
KidSport. They will be playing a charity marathon game
of NHL 10 on Nov 7-8. You can join in on the
action from the comfort of your home.

Mardi Gras
Celebrating
Special Olympics athletes, this year’s annual fundraiser
boasts a Mardi Gras themed evening with a gourmet meal
and Winnipeg’s own Johnny Cajun band. Being held
on Nov. 12 in the beautiful ballroom of the Delta
Winnipeg with unique silent and live auction items,
it’s an event you don’t want to miss.
