province unveiled its 2010 budget and Sport Manitoba
was pleased to see a commitment to continue to support
the Sport for Life Centre as well as some new money
to support greater participation of Manitoba athletes
in sport and Olympic opportunities.

to help offset the cost of registration fees for provincial

This
annual event is for Manitobas junior and high
school students competing for the title of Dragon
Boat Champs! Its a fun outdoor activity that

Sport for Life Gala
Sport
Manitoba is bringing together all of the nominees
for athlete, coach, official and volunteer of the
year to recognize and celebrate their contributions
to amateur sport. The evening will also pay tribute
to Manitoba Olympians and their accomplishments in
Vancouver. Celebrate amateur sport April 14.

Manitoba Foundation for Sports Scholarship
The
Manitoba Foundations for Sports Scholarship supports
young athletes who continue to participate in amateur
sport while pursing a post secondary education on
a full time basis. Application deadline is April
23, 2010. Do you know someone who could apply?
